What the role looks like:

Working closely with the Product Manager, you will play a key role in supporting and advancing product development across both front-end and back-end systems. You'll collaborate daily with developers and business team members to improve the product and improve the user experience. Expect to participate actively in daily standups, helping your team prioritize tasks, investigate issues, and drive development projects forward. Your responsibilities will be dynamic, varying based on current priorities and challenges, encompassing everything from analyzing product requests and user needs to bug handling, documentation, communication, feature testing, and writing detailed project requirements.


What you’ll be responsible for:
  • Managing changes to product configurations
  • Prioritizing features and bug fixes for the product backlog based on business value, user impact, and strategic goals.
  • Collaborating effectively with development teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and clear communication.
  • Defining detailed feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Communicating product changes, updates, and release notes clearly to internal stakeholders and the wider company.
  • Developing and maintaining clear, accurate product documentation (e.g., user guides, internal knowledge base articles).
  • Participating in QA processes, including bug reporting, verification, and user acceptance testing.

  • Someone who holds a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or technological field, or possesses equivalent industry experience.
  • A person with strong analytical and problem-solving skills that genuinely enjoys tackling complex challenges.
  • Someone who demonstrates an ability to quickly learn complex concepts and understand systems.
  • An individual who is skilled at balancing multiple priorities and making informed trade-off decisions.
  • Someone who possesses excellent negotiation and facilitation skills.

What we’d love to see in your work history:
  • Background working within a software company environment AND/OR extensive experience working directly with complex software.
  • Experience managing multiple projects or competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working on large-scale projects involving multiple team members and diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and/or user/resource documentation.

Location:

If the successful candidate is based in the Greater Toronto Area, she/he/they can choose to participate in our hybrid experience, by working from home 2 days/week, while enjoying the benefits of in-person interactions at our Toronto office 3 days/week.

If the successful candidate is based elsewhere in Canada, she/he/they will work remotely 100% of the time.

‍Salary:

Base salary between CAD $75-80K / year

Start Date:

The target start date for this role is May 26, 2025, but can be flexible according to the availability of the successful candidate.
